Description

Synplus ACEA C1 5W/30 is a full synthetic, low SAPS, super high performance engine oil which combines the latest development in oil formulation and additive technology to provide a lubricating oil with the highest level of protection whilst promoting fuel efficiency in modern low friction petrol and diesel engines.
Synplus ACEA C1 5W/30 is a stable, stay-in-grade catalyst compatible oil intended for use at extended drain intervals in car and light van diesel engines. These engines will be designed to be capable of using this low friction, low viscosity oil with a high temperature/high shear rate (HTHS) viscosity of 2.9 mPa.s minimum.
Synplus ACEA C1 5W/30 meets the 2012 edition of the ACEA specifications and it has increased sludge handling performance to further increase the long drain capabilities of this oil, as well as extending the life of the exhaust system’s diesel particulate filters and three way filters.
Synplus ACEA C1 5W/30 also meets the Japanese JASO M355 DL-1 performance standard. This standard extends the existing DH-1 classification for diesel engines to recognise the different requirements of passenger car light diesel, and truck and bus diesel engines when using fuel with a maximum 0.05% sulphur content. Adding to the existing engine detergency, wear prevention and other performance benchmarks, there are the requirements for DL-1 oils to reduce the amount of soot (responsible for DPF clogging), and reduce the oil constituents that may impede catalyst performance.
Synplus ACEA C1 5W/30 meets today’s environmentally conscious market demands of reduced emissions and increased fuel efficiency.
