Product Benefit
Rubber Grease is a premium quality clay thickened grease formulated with castor oil to provide outstanding performance in a wide range of automotive and industrial applications where contact with natural and/or synthetic rubber components is required or likely. Unlike mineral oil based greases, the castor oil component of this product means that it will not adversely affect rubber parts therefore preventing excessive softening or hardening.
By its very nature castor oil imparts excellent lubricity and corrosion prevention properties to Rubber Grease. A food grade antioxidant has been included to maximise in-service and storage life.
The state-of-the-art equipment and procedures employed to manufacture this imparts to this grease a high degree of mechanical and storage stability. It will not breakdown under high mechanical stress. In storage it will not alter consistency or release oil.
It is an NLGI 2 consistency grease.
APPLICATION
Rubber Grease is recommended as a general purpose, non-harmful grease for automotive, industrial and
consumer parts or components consisting of natural or synthetic rubber. These include hydraulic dust
covers, braking system components, seals, washers, stoppers etc.
The recommended operating temperature range for Rubber Grease is from -5
oC to 120 oC.
