Brooke Dixon

brookeMelbourne’s Brooke Dixon is widely regarded as one of the toughest competitors in the extreme sport of V8 Superboats. A fashionista who is more at home at a shoe sale than in the pits at a motorsport event, the talented International Group A [aka 400 Class] star is currently ranked #2 in the world and #3 in Australia.

A product of her father Phil’s multiple Australian Superboat titles, Brooke initially sat in the navigator’s seat of a number of boats before trying the drivers side for herself, surpassing almost everyone in her first couple of seasons.

Season 2011 has been unkind to the Hi-Tec Oils Racing pilot with some minor but significant part failures keeping Brooke out of the title chase, yet despite that she has been quick enough to make the podium on every other occasion.

With the world championship approaching in New Zealand in early 2012, Brooke is hoping to go one better than her second placed finish in the last world titles [2009], and prepare herself for an all out assault on the 2012 Australian Championships.
